Juvederm is a dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is produced by your body, making it plump, supple, and resilient. As we age, hyaluronic production diminishes, causing facial folds and wrinkles to deepen. FDA-approved Juvederm injections are an effective and safe way to restore youthful facial volume. The results are immediate, and last for up to a full year.
Why is “full correction” with Juvederm important?
Incomplete wrinkle correction does not serve you well. One of the most common reasons anyone is disappointed with Juvederm results is concern for total cost resulted in fewer than needed syringes to achieve the volume that was desired. Furthermore, many medical professionals believe that if “full correction” is initially achieved, that the results will last longer.
How many Juvederm syringes will I need?
The number of Juvederm syringes you will need really depends on three things: the depth of your facial folds lines, how many areas you want to improve, and how much correction you want to achieve. Full correction for deep laugh lines often requires at least two syringes of Juvederm. Cheeks or marionette lines may require 3 or more Juvederm syringes.
When should I get at Juvederm touch-up?
Over the course of a year, Juvederm will gradually lose the volume that was initially achieved. Your Juvederm results can be maximized by having touch-ups at four to six months after full correction was achieved.
