We were surprised to receive literally hundreds of entries in the first Brand New, Younger Looking You Anti-Aging Makeover Contest sponsored by Body Beautiful Day Spa Phoenix | Scottsdale. Every story was compelling, and the selecting a single winner was very difficult.

Julie, our winner, was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of last year. Chemotherapy caused Julie to lose all of her hair, including her eyebrows and eyelashes. Julie wrote “Of course I am so grateful to be alive and cancer-free, but I can’t say that I feel good about my appearance yet. I think my short hair makes me look older, and I am very self-conscious about my lines and wrinkles. I did not feel very attractive or feminine during most of 2011, but I am looking forward to a transformation in 2012.”
