One of the most common questions we get at Body Beautiful Spa is “How much Botox will I need?” The answer depends on how much Botox you need, and where you need it.

How Much Botox Will I Need?

For forehead lines, also called brow furrows, you’ll need anywhere from 10 to 30 units. Glabella frown lines between the eyes will take between 10 and 25 units of Botox. An eyebrow lift will require 2 to 5 units per side, and crow’s feet 5 to 15 units per side.

Treating bunny lines on your nose will require 5 – 10 units per side. For a smile lift, you’ll need 3 to 8 units per side. Smoothing neck wrinkles will require 25 to 50 units.

What is a Unit of Botox?

A unit of Botox is 1/100 of a cc (cubic centimeter). This is a tiny amount.

How Do We Dilute our Botox?

Botox is shipped in a powder form It must be reconstituted with sterile saline solution before it can be injected. At Body Beautiful Spa, we dilute our Botox 1:1, which means for every 1cc of reconstituted Botox, there are 100 units of pure Botox.

Some injectors dilute 2:1, meaning for every 2ccs of reconstituted Botox, there are 100 units of pure Botox. If someone is offering surprisingly inexpensive Botox, it could be because they are diluting 2:1.
