Remove Brown Spots with the Clearista Pen
Body Beautiful is excited to offer the Professional Clearista Refining Pen. It's used in a gentle procedure that works only at the skin's surface to address brown spots called seborrheic keratosis (SKs) and unsightly skin blemishes. Our technicians are trained specifically to addresses certain skin blemishes that may not be treatable at home, or are far more expensive at the dermatologist's office.
What Can I Expect From Clearista Pen Therapy?
What are the Benefits?
Clearista Pen therapy can instantly remove brown spots and SKs
The 15-30 procedure to remove brown spots will initially cause some reddening of the skin, but disappears over the next day or two. Often patients do not need a follow up visit, and the skin continues to improve over the next few months.
- A safe skincare option requiring no anesthesia
- Less harsh or damaging v. old-school skincare treatments such as lasers, acids, liquid nitrogen and curettage.
- Treatment is quick, usually only 1/2 hour; multiple spots may take a little longer to treat in a visit
- Less expensive than surgical alternatives
Is Clearista Pen Therapy Painful?
There may be minor irritation during the procedure as the technician works over the same area of the brown spots with some pressure. However, most patients experience only minimal discomfort, and any redness resolves completely in about 24 hours.
How Long Will it Take to See Results?
Patients notice an immediate change as the brown spots are erased at their first visit, leaving brief redness in the area where the pressure and pen was applied. Visible improvements to the area will continue over the course of several weeks and months.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Some patients only require a single treatment to achieve optimal results, with occasional brown spots or SKs requiring a follow up visit.
